Growing Season
The 2024 wine season was characterized by a very long and variable growing period. The months of April, May, and part of June were particularly rainy and cold, while heat and severe drought defined the second half of June, July, and August. September and October were cool and rainy again.
The vineyards required protection first from fungi that attacked bunches and leaves, then from the heat that stressed the plants, and finally, at harvest time, from bunch rot. Agronomic practices such as targeted soil cultivation, green canopy management, selective leaf removal, and thinning were essential to bring the grapes to the cellar in excellent condition and enhance quality.
The wines produced in 2024 are distinguished by their remarkable balance: the whites stand out for their exceptional varietal aromas, while the reds and rosés are notable for their freshness, salinity, and complex acidity — qualities that promise long aging potential.
